【摘要】:TherequirementsofthisStandardcoveroutdoorseasonal-usecord-connectedwiringdevicesthatareintendedfortemporaryoutdooruse-nottoexceed90days-withoutdoorequipment,Christmas-tree,andotherseasonaldecorative-lightingoutfits.Someoutdoorseasonal-usecord-connectedwiringdevicesemployadditionaldevicessuchasphotoelectricsensors,fuses,supplementaryprotectorsandtimers.ProductsemployingadditionaldevicesshallmeettheintentandtestingdescribedinthisStandard.Theserequirementsonlycoverdevicesrated15A,125V,andofthe2-pole,3-wire,5-15configurationasshowninWiringDevices-DimensionalSpecifications,ANSI/NEMAWD6.Theserequirementsdonotcoverdeviceswithremotecontrolfeatures.TheserequirementsareintendedtobeusedwiththeStandardforCordSetsandPower-SupplyCords,UL817.
