【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheexplosionprotectionrequirementsfortheconstructionandmarkingofequipmentthatmaybeanindividualitemorformanassembly.Thisincludesmachineryandcomponentsplacedonthemarketbyasinglesupplierforuseinminessusceptibletoexplosiveatmospheresoffiredampand/orcombustibledust(atatmosphericconditionsasdefinedinEN1127-2).NOTE1ThisEuropeanStandarddealsonlywiththeignitionprotectionofminingmachineryandmanufacturerswillneedtotakeaccountofallotherrelevantEUDirectivesrelatingtotheconstructionofmachinese.g.theconsolidatedMachineryDirective98/37/EC.Additionally,manufacturerswillneedtotakeaccountofanynationallegislationinthecountrywheretheyintendtomarkettheirequipment.NOTE2Wheretheflammablegasintheatmosphereisnotpredominantlymethane,referencewillneedtobemadeto4.1ineitherEN60079-0:2004orEN13463-1:2001.NOTE3Thedefinitionof‘equipment’iscontainedinEN13463-1.Thedefinitionof‘assembly’canbefoundtheATEXguidelines,publishedbytheEuropeanCommission.EquipmentcomplyingwiththerelevantclausesofthisEuropeanStandardisconsideredtomeettherequirementsforequipmentofGroupI-CategoryM2.ThisEuropeanStandardalsodealswiththepreventionofignitionsofexplosiveatmospherescausedbyburning(orsmouldering)ofcombustiblematerialsuchasfabricfibres,plastic”O”-rings,rubberseals,lubricatingoilsorgreasesusedintheconstructionoftheequipmentifsuchitemscouldbeanignitionsource.Forexample,themechanicalfailureofrotatingshaftbearingscanresultinfrictionalheatingthatignitesitsplasticcage,plasticsealorlubricatinggrease.Seealso5.2.4ofEN13463-1:2001.NOTE4TheaboveclauseofEN13463-1requirestheignitionhazardassessmenttoincludethosecomponentswhich,iftheyfailed,couldigniteanyflammablesubstance(e.g.lubricatingoil)containedwithintheequipmentandwhichcouldconsequentlybecome,orcreate,anignitionsource.Inthecaseofcoalminingequipmentandcomponents,theignitiontemperatureofthemineraloilsorgreasesusedisoftenbelowthatoffiredamp,i.e.below560°C.
