【摘要】:1.1Systemperformanceverificationmethodsstimulatetheexaminationarticleonwhichthesensorismounted.Theresultingstresswavetravelsintheexaminationarticleandisdetectedbythesensor(s)inamannersimilartoacousticemission.1.2ThisguidedescribesmethodswhichcanbeusedtoverifytheresponseofanAcousticEmissionsystemincludingsensors,couplant,sensormountingdevices,cablesandsystemelectroniccomponents.1.3Acousticemissionsystemperformancecharacteristics,whichmaybeevaluatedusingthisdocument,includesomewaveformparameters,andsourcelocationaccuracy.1.4Performanceverificationisusuallyconductedpriortobeginningtheexamination.1.5Performanceverificationcanbeconductedduringtheexaminationifthereisanysuspicionthatthesystemperformancemayhavechanged.1.6Performanceverificationmaybeconductedaftertheexaminationhasbeencompleted.

【摘要】:Itisintendedthatthispracticebeusedtoprovideasamplerepresentativeofthecoalfromwhichitiscollected.Becauseofthevariabilityofcoalandthewidevarietyofsamplingequipment,cautionshouldbeusedinallstagesofsamplingfromsystemspecificationsandequipmentprocurementtoequipmentacceptancetestingandactuallytakingthefinalsample.Afterfurtherprocessing(PracticeD2013),thesamplemaybeanalyzedforanumberofdifferentparameters.Theseparametersmayaffectthelot''svalue,itsabilitytomeetspecifications,itsenvironmentalimpact,aswellasotherproperties.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforthecollectionofasampleundervariousconditionsofsampling.ThesampleistobecrushedandfurtherpreparedforanalysisinaccordancewithPracticeD2013.However,theproceduresfordividinglargesamplesbeforeanycrushingaregiveninthispractice.ForthesamplingofcoalusingmechanicalsamplingsystemsseeD7430PracticefortheMechanicalSamplingofCoal.1.2Thispracticedescribesgeneralandspecialpurposesamplingproceduresforcoals(1)bysizeandconditionofpreparation(forexample,mechanicallycleanedcoalorrawcoal)and(2)bysamplingcharacteristics.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
