【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthelinearflamepropagationratesoflubricatingoilsandhydraulicfluidssupportedonthesurfacesofandimpregnatedintoceramicfibermedia.Datathusgeneratedaretobeusedforthecomparisonofrelativeflammability.Thistestmethodshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmethodmaybeusedaselementsoffireriskwhichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorsthatarepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
